Well, it's almost the end of January 2024, and as we're just getting started in the new year I think it's time to take a final look back to last year to bid it farewell. Or rather, bid it good riddance. I don't know a single person for whom 2023 was a good year, everyone I know had an awful time and couldn't wait for a fresh January start. One-thousand, five-hundred and seventy-two. That's how many captions/stories (give or take a few, an exact count is hard) I've written over the years, across every platform. Hi all, Well, it has been a while... Nearly a year in fact, since I went on what was meant to be a short break. Ultimately I did some soul searching, and finally came to terms with the fact that I can't indulge in captioning anymore, no matter how much part of me wants to. It's way too easy for me to fall back into bad habits and become addicted. I don't want that. I want to be me, not some masturbation-crazed pervert who spends hours a day obsessively poring over every detail of her smut blog. To that end I'm quitting - for real this time. Estrogen has helped me finally kick the habit by lowering my sex drive enough, and therapy got me to the finish line. I'm still an active smut enthusiast (as we'll see soon), but I'm nowhere near as bad as I used to be. Enough rambling. I hope you're all well, and that you've enjoyed your time with my work.
